Lion Care and COVID-19

Firstly, my sincere apologies for not contacting you all sooner with the companies plans and updates, I have been very busy securing safety equipment and making sure the staff are trained in dealing with a possible case of Covid-19 within our client base.

As a company we have now secured alcohol gel, masks, aprons, eye wear, gloves, full body protection and shoe covers. I also have more on the way, the government are also supplying some equipment from the pandemic stores, but I have not had confirmation of delivery at this time.

I have received daily updates from Public Health England and the CQC with the latest guidance and these are being followed by all staff.

At this stage we are running business as normal with no staff or clients currently unwell with either confirmed or suspected Covid-19. As the situation changes there may be the need to put extra measures in place i.e changing call times but at this time as a company we are still running to our normal call times and lengths for most of the clients.

Can I ask that if you do become unwell that you contact me as soon as possible especially if you have had contact with your relative so we can put extra measures in place to ensure the safety and care of both staff and client.

I will send out further correspondence as and when needed with any updates to the plans in place but if you wish to discuss anything with me then please feel free to text/whats app, email or call me. This is a worrying time for everyone but please be assured we are looking after everyone the best we can.
